Phoenix Museum of History
The Phoenix Museum of History is currently closed and is under the auspices of the Arizona Science Center (602 716-2000).
The Phoenix Museum of History will tell you all about how the fifth-largest city in the nation came to be. Whether you’re new to the Valley or a native, there’s something to learn from the exhibits, which feature everything from American Indian cultures to the Mexican-American community’s growth through the years. Plus, you can check out historical books and photos dating back to the late 1800s. The museum also is home to a huge Dia de los Muertos celebration, complete with folklorico dancers and crafts.
