The liquor board's been all over them for a while now. I knew something like this would happen months ago, it was just a matter of time. This is a prime example of what happens when you don't disclose everything to the liquor board about who "owns" the place.

Always sad to see someone go out of business after pouring so much time, energy, money, and effort into creating something. Now that the Metro is open, people can take the train between dozens of bars and clubs... I bet Downtown Phoenix and Mill Avenue will see a huge spike in business, and downtown Scottsdale might be past its saturation point. I'm hopeful the Metro will start "night owl" service once per hour at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 in the morning - that's just 4 more trains in each direction per night, they can do it...
