Asia de Cuba: User Reviews
Asia de Cuba serves, well, you guessed it, Asian and Cuban fusion food. The restaurant is inside the trendy and sleek Mondrian Hotel in Scottsdale. It's a nice place to go if you want to get dressed up for dinner and be with the beautiful people. The pretension may run high at a place like this, but do as I do and ignore it because the food is worthy sticking around for. Try the braised beef spring roll or the Thai beef salad to start and work your way to entrees such as the Coconut Mustard Seed Sustainable Chilean Sea Bass or the Cuban BBQ Chicken that comes with Thai coconut sticky rice, avocado cilantro fruit salsa and tamarind sauce. Flavors like this don't come cheap. Appetizers average about $25 and entrees range from $30 to $70.
