Roaring Fork serves rustic American food with a Southwestern spin. The restaurant gets rave reviews for its Wood Fired Cooking technique, which serves up dishes such as the Roaring Fork "Big Ass" burger, roasted and smoked long bone ribs and market fresh fish. My favorite thing on the menu is the green chile pork stew. The stew comes in a small iron kettle and has chunks of port mixed with melted jack cheese and served with a side of buttered tortillas. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten. Roaring Fork is upscale so it's the kind of place you go for special occasions.
