Decades ago, the surgically enhanced blonde was a rare sight in Old Town. The city was once ruled by the Wrangler-wearing cowboy types. Over at the Rusty Spur, you wouldn't have guessed anything has changed, which makes a certain kind of sense as it's Scottsdale's oldest bar, having started serving booze in 1958. You'll find a fun-loving crowd that comes in for the strong drinks and the live country and classic rock seven days a week. It's the most authentic (and tiniest) saloon in the area, housed in a building constructed in 1921. Don't be surprised to find patrons sporting actual spurs.
