Steve LeVine pulls out all the stops

This morning, my inbox looked like 2007.

I had an invite to a fancy pull-out-all-the-stops party at a fabulous venue that promised pretty rad entertainment and free drinks. Best of all, the host wanted me to pass on the invite to you.

Steve LeVine is a promoter and event coordinator in Scottsdale and he's throwing a party for his company, Steve LeVine Entertainment, Thursday at 8 p.m. at the W Scottsdale Hotel & Residences.

The night starts with a champagne mixer from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Living Room lobby lounge with DJ Circle, followed by live entertainment from hip-hop and Top 40 cover band Static and a fashion show from Beach Bunny Swimwear upstairs at the fancy-pants Shade poolside lounge.

Guests will be treated to food from the hotel's buzz-worthy restaurant Sushi Roku and will get to carefully pluck their dessert from a cupcake tower by Variations Bakery.

Women from the Bliss Spa will also be “on hand” to provide arm and hand massages, which I can only assume is less awkward than it sounds. There will also be a pick-pocket and magician on-hand who will, I presume, take things from you, make them disappear and then give them back.

And while all of that sounds really cool and whatnot, the real reason you should come is because you've already been to tons of LeVine's parties before (the W grand opening, Cinco de Sandbar Dodgeball tournament, the MyStudio grand opening at Scottsdale Fashion Square, snow party at Axis/Radius this winter, etc.) and this is a chance to tip your hat to him for all the fun you've had. Or, it's a chance to corner him and tell him what kind of things he could do better at his next nightclub party.

It's also a rare chance to party like it's two years ago, and who knows how long it will be before we can do that again.
