The Saloon staff here hands out as much as 20 pounds of complimentary beef jerky each night—people must be making nearly a meal of it. Yes, it's that good, made on-site of round of beef that's been lightly frozen so it slices nearly transparent-thin, marinated and deeply peppered, then roasted in a pastry oven. The result is crackly thin and bursting with flavor, just the thing to go with sips of the Fork's signature fruit margaritas. Need more to nibble? There are also endless bowls of delicious, completely addictive homemade cracker and nut mix sprinkled with wood-fired spices.
