Ice House Tavern

It's fitting that "Arizona's best hockey bar" overlooks the rink at Arcadia Ice Arena. Quite literally a hole in the wall (you've got to wander down a back alley just to find the place), Ice House has built a reputation as a neighborhood dive where the staff remembers your name, even if you're a first-timer.

The proximity to the ice makes it a great place to cool off while watching a baseball or football game. A self-proclaimed hockey bar is a godsend to hockey fans—especially during the Stanley Cup playoffs, when so many bars devote their TVs to early-season baseball games.

The bar also hosts local bands.
