Acme Bar and Grill serves up traditional bar fare with greasy appetizers and standard salads and sandwiches, but it’s really popular for its weekly drink specials and attractive crowds at night. Before you hop on the bar to dance (which is an option here if the space isn’t too crowded), imbibe $3 well, wine or domestic bottles during happy hour from 3-7 p.m. Mondays-Fridays. Ladies get lucky Friday and Saturday nights with penny drinks from 8-11 p.m. Head out to the patio, which is always packed with young people mingling, or play pool inside.

To be honest, any bar with penny drinks is a good bar in my book. In that case, Acme is definitely on my short list. Located in Old Town Scottsdale...

Good place to start your night off right, especially budget wise! Penny drinks you can't beat, DJ is good as well : )
