A little piece of England is in the George & Dragon, a pub modeled after overseas bars, with stone walls and a fireplace, British decorations and flags hanging from the ceiling, and the Union Jack decorating tables. The space has a huge selection of alcohol, including imported British, Welsh and Scottish beers, as well as a wide selection of scotch — and all drinks are $1 off from 4-7 p.m. Mondays-Fridays. For food, try some traditional British fare such as shepherd’s pie ($10.50) or a Cornish pasty ($10.95). Don’t worry, there are American selections for the not-so-daring. Make some new friends at the pub during a poker tournament or while playing at one of the two pool tables.
