A Democratic state senator owns Cheuvront, but political animals of all stripes are welcome at the downtown wine bar that stocks a full bar and half-price happy hour prices on all appetizers. Nibble on the gourmet mac and cheese while you watch glad-handing at its drinks-fueled best.
