The Valley is a notoriously casual place. A few years ago, ripped jeans and trucker hats were ubiquitous at even the area's chi chi-est clubs. And now, the euphemistically named genre of clothing known as resort casual is pretty much our unofficial uniform when going to nicer bars and restaurants. But in this sea of men's denim and polos and women's jeans and rhinestoned Ts, there are a handful of places worth making an effort for. When you're ready to dress to impress, these are your destinations, no matter what your style.
