The excitement we feel for Skybar—perhaps for the entire, newly remodeled Modrian Scottsdale Hotel—cannot be expressed in 100 words or less. Only people who have experienced the incapacitating awe of walking through the Delano in Miami can understand how amazing it is that the same hotel group has added to our city. Morgans Hotel Group’s avant-garde high style makes us want to throw things in envy. Even if you can't afford the drinks, it's almost enough to sip a club soda in one of the Philippe Stark ghost chairs and revel in the idea that such an establishment can get away with decorating a lounge completely in black.
