Mickey’s Hangover
November 7, 2008
Here is lounging of a completely different vein from those on our list so far. Mickey’s Hangover is reminiscent of a ‘70s basement and/or thrift store with miss-matched vintage sofas, chairs, tables and lamps. A balance of casual coziness and retro hipness, it’s no wonder that all of Scottsdale seems to be here after they’ve hit the other clubs. We dig the food—their 7-ounce Fat Boy Burger with fries has no rival. Our only complaint is paying a $3-5 cover most nights just to order this $10 dish. Then again, specials like Wednesdays’ $3 you-call-its or daily happy hour from 4-9 p.m. with half-off munchies help take the sting off the cover.

Ah, this place is ok, about the best of the group. The Phoenix metro area has no good clubs or bars save one...Chez Nous, the rest, what a joke.
