Fashion met social justice when Way Cool Hair Pollution in Phoenix was host to a an art and fashion show called Da Una Mano (Give a Hand) put on by Las Otras Hermanas (LOH), a charity group providing low-income women in Juarez, Mexico with entrepreneurial support and other resources in order to empower their communities an create positive change. The show featured designs in apparel and hair by artists such as Phantom Peralta, MLE Jean, LOH, stylists at Way Cool Hair Pollution, as well as performances by Scorpius Dance Theater, Dulce Dance Company, and music by Party Foul DJ's and others.
