Horny Huck
Sit outside the Roaring Fork during happy hour (from 4-7pm Monday through Saturday) and enjoy a Horny Huck ($7), a delicious mix of Hornitos Sauza tequila, orange Curacao, huckleberry juice and lime. The cool night air, a tasty beveragewho could ask for more?
Chambord Margarita
We love the frosty, frozen Chambord Margarita ($7), at Z'Tejas Grillthere is a two-drink maximum on this one, for good reason. Sauza Gold tequila, triple sec and lime juice are blended together and topped with a floater of the raspberry liqueur. Prepare for the cab ride home.
Jamaica Margarita
Barrio serves upwards of 200 of Mexico's finest tequilas, so it is hard to choose a favorite. The Jamaica Margarita ($11), mixes El Tesoro Silver tequila, fresh lime juice, hibiscus flower “tea” and Grand Marnier for a truly original, not-too-sweet drink.
Margarita de Coco
The Margarita de Coco ($9.50), served at Los Sombreros, is a tropical take on the original—Cuervo Tradicional tequila, Kalani coconut liqueur and pineapple juice make for a tasty drink that will make you want to lie on the beach in Mexico (as if you needed a reason).
Tijuana Donkey
The Tijuana Donkey ($8.50), at Los Sombreros, is a refreshing libation made with Cazadores Silver tequila, ginger beer and fresh lime juice. A little bit tart, a little bubbly and mighty good.
Houston's margarita
When one thinks of margaritas, Houston's wouldn't necessarily come to mind. But the bartenders here squeeze the limes right in front of your eyes for an ultra-fresh concoction. Houston's serves their margaritas frothy, not blending, per se, but whipping them in to a frenzy. Homemade sour mix is the key, as is the fresh lime juice and plenty of Cuervo Gold.
The Especial
Charming and unpretentious, Sierra Bonita serves up some serious drinks in a relaxing setting. The Especial ($10) is a top-notch melange of Sauza Hornitos tequila, Cointreau, fresh sweet and sour, brandy and a splash of orange juice served in a tall rocks glass. No fancy long-stemmed barware on this one, just pure drinking enjoyment.

Hornitos is 100% Agave, a "real tequila lover" would know that. And it's the best tequila for the money to put in a margarita. The more expensive...
