After a few drinks at any of these bars, you can easily walk your bike to the nearest light rail station and get home safely. But you guys are right - people planning a bicycle bar crawl need to know the laws, know their limits and ride safely.

That is right cremat when I was on the "inside" I remember hearing fellow "insiders" talking about hearing about some person who was popped for a DUI on a bike. When you're on a bike and drunk you do pose a threat to motorists who are operating a vehicle and then you swerve into their lane of traffic and they try to avoid you and end up wrecking into another vehicle or worst yet a pedestrian you can be arrested for DUI. Maybe Sheriff Joe is behind writing this article.

This is a pretty dumb article considering that you can get a DUI riding a bicycle. It's pretty sad that AZcentral is promoting bars on bikes, with recognizing the dangers. There is basically no way that someone can hit all 5 places, have one drink at each place, and not be over the legal limit by the time they are done.
