125 E. Adams St. - PhoenixRitmo Latino Entertainment hosts this downtown Phoenix party every Friday, regularly drawing more than 1,000 dancers and drinkers to this venerable restaurant and bar. That's a lot of people in this place, if you've ever been during the day for lunch. The party is hosted by James Rivas Jr. with national DJ champ AL3 spinning the best reggaeton, hip-hop and Latin on two dance floors. If you don't feel like dancing, happy hour is perfect for noshing on dishes like spicy fried calamari, fire jumbo prawns and Tex-Mex spring rolls. All food items are $4 or $5. Its clientele consists of hotel guests, stylish locals and even celebrities during event nights. (It's owned by Rande Gerber, nightlife entrepreneur and Cindy Crawford's husband, who also owns locations in Los Angeles and New York City.) The 5 to 7:30 p.m. happy hour is the ideal time to visit and try the broad range of sophisticated signature cocktails and small plates, as everything is half price.

During the awesomely long 4-9 p.m. happy hour Tuesdays through Fridays, you can get half-off all well drinks, house wine and domestic bottle beer. Every Wednesday is Rock U night from 9 p.m. to midnight, when you can load up on vodka Red Bulls and Jägermeister drinks from $4 and Bud Lights for $2.
Sassi
10455 E. Pinnacle Peak Parkway - ScottsdaleSassi is gorgeously designed to resemble a Tuscan villa, and the food is just as striking. Sassi's bar offers half-price antipasti from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. At that time, you can also indulge in $7 glasses of house wine. But we also recommend dishes like orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe. Many of the pasta dishes feature house-made pasta like Cordolona—rope pasta with pork polpettini, red sauce, oregano, pecorino and bread crumbs. Do you feel a Mediterranean breeze? It's blowing in with the wood-roasted calamari, grilled veal chop and grappa-glazed carrots.
