Whether you're rarin' to go for a ride on the bull yourself, or are more of a "sip your drink and smirk at people who fall off after two seconds" kind of person, Cadillac Ranch serves up great specials to loosen up your workweek. From 4 to 7 p.m. every day, score half-price apps, $2 domestic bottles and drafts, $3 Black Oak wines by the glass, $3 import bottles and drafts, $3 wells, $3 frozen margaritas and $5 specialty drinks.

Party Foul! at Homme Lounge

Homme Lounge - 138 W. Camelback Road - Phoenix

The same guys who brought you Word Up! Saturdays rock this weekly at Homme. DJs spin a mix of hip-hop, retro, hyphy and bmore beats. No cover before 11 p.m., 50-cent well vodka from 9 to 10 p.m. and $3 Three Olives Vodka after 11 p.m. Just try not to spill your beer.

Giligin's

Located in the heart of Old Town, Giligin's isn't your average chic Scottsdale nightspot. It's loud, it's raucous, it's casual and it's famous for a bartender named Chuey the rock-and-roll midget. It also has some wicked daily specials and distinctive entertainment for folks to enjoy whilst they get their drink on. Fridays kick off with happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. Score $1 domestic pints, glasses of wine and select shots. After 7 p.m., you can indulge in $3 sex on the beach and kamikaze shots, $2 PBRs and $1 Jell-O shots.

Matador Restaurant

Ritmo Latino Entertainment hosts this downtown Phoenix party every Friday, regularly drawing more than 1,000 dancers and drinkers to this venerable restaurant and bar. That's a lot of people in this place, if you've ever been during the day for lunch. The party is hosted by James Rivas Jr. with national DJ champ AL3 spinning the best reggaeton, hip-hop and Latin on two dance floors. If you don't feel like dancing, happy hour is perfect for noshing on dishes like spicy fried calamari, fire jumbo prawns and Tex-Mex spring rolls. All food items are $4 or $5. It happens twice: first from 4-6 p.m., then again from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Asia de Cuba

Select drinks, including the mojito and caipirinha and glasses of sangria, are $5 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Asia de Cuba at the Mondrian Scottsdale during its South Beach Friday-night parties. So get dressed up, find a fancy friend and go out. Even if you go to the dollar movie theater afterward, you will still feel like you had a big night out.

Oggi's Pizza & Brewing Co.

Award-winning microbrew beers, gourmet pizza and 19 wide-screen televisions showing the best in sports? Sounds perfect. Check out one of the delicious sports-named pizza creations, like the March Madness (a five-cheese pizza) or the Great One (Wayne Gretzky's favorite) and wash it down with a Sunset Amber Ale, the silver medal winner at the 2005 Great American Beer Festival. From 2 to 6 p.m., all drinks are buy-one-get-one-free with the purchase of a food item. Night owls can also down $1 brews from 6 p.m. to close.

Geisha A Go Go Asian Bistro Lounge

Admit it: You know all the words to “My Heart Will Go On." You've pretended your hairbrush is a microphone. You love Journey. It's OK, you're not alone. We'll get through this together. Indulge your inner rock star (with a little liquid courage) at Geisha A Go Go from 4 to 7 p.m. Half-price sake bombers, sake infusions, specialty drinks and seasonal wines will get you in the mood for a little (or a lot of) karaoke. Plus, you can nosh on half-price appetizers during the three-hour slot.

Stingray Sushi

Get a little exotic on the cheap at this trendy, flashy sushi joint. Food and drink specials abound from 3 to 7 p.m., and the sushi menu is perfectly priced for sampling. The menu includes California and spicy tuna rolls for $3, shrimp tempura rolls for $4, and crispy spicy tuna, dragon and Las Vegas rolls for $5. Sip on half-price cold sake and specialty drinks or $4 seasonal red wines. Sake Bombers are also half-off.

Stone Rose Lounge

Located in the Fairmont Scottsdale, this lounge has an indoor bar with panoramic windows and plush seating and an outdoor bar that “floats” on a blue-glowing square pool below. Its clientele consists of hotel guests, stylish locals and even celebrities during event nights. (It's owned by Rande Gerber, nightlife entrepreneur and Cindy Crawford's husband, who also owns locations in Los Angeles and New York City.) The 5 to 7:30 p.m. happy hour is the ideal time to visit and try the broad range of sophisticated signature cocktails and small plates, as everything is half price.

Native New Yorker

You come for the cheap drinks, but you stay for the TVs. You can score $3 22-ounce domestic drafts, $2.50 domestic bottles and pints, $4.50 22-ounce imports, $3 half-pint imports and $3 well drinks from 3 to 7 p.m. But the 28 TVs, seven of them high definition, feature NTN for live interactive sports and trivia, and all the major sports packages, including NFL Sunday Ticket, so there's always something sporty to enjoy.

Drift Restaurant and Tiki Bar

If you're dreaming of an ocean-side getaway but you're landlocked, you can revel in the ambiance of this tropical-themed spot by sipping on signature cocktails such as the Molokai, Tabu Tini or the Day Tripper, a mixture of Bacardi Coco, pineapple juice, cream and soda, served in a coconut-rimmed glass. On Wahine Wednesdays, all the wahine (women) in the house can score $2 You-Call-Its from 9 p.m. to midnight, and everyone can enjoy special deals on Cabo Wabo shots and Skyy Infusions. Earlier in the evening, from 4 to 7 p.m., Drift rolls out $5 food and drink specials, including tropical tipples such as daiquiris and margaritas, as well as spicy $5 nibbles such as crispy calamari and Bottle Rockets. Make it a beach party with a $15 pu-pu platter, plus $2 draft beers, $8 draft pitchers and $4 house wines by the glass.

Drinx

Drinx is a great place to meet and mingle in Old Town Scottsdale without having to get glammed up and spend a ton of money. Drinx offers a comfortable atmosphere and upscale feel while making it easy for the customer to feel at home. During the awesomely long 4-9 p.m. happy hour Tuesdays through Fridays, you can get half-off all well drinks, house wine and domestic bottle beer. Every Wednesday is Rock U night from 9 p.m. to midnight, when you can load up on vodka Red Bulls and Jägermeister drinks from $4 and Bud Lights for $2.

Sassi

Sassi is gorgeously designed to resemble a Tuscan villa, and the food is just as striking. Sassi's bar offers half-price antipasti from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. At that time, you can also indulge in $7 glasses of house wine. But we also recommend dishes like orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe. Many of the pasta dishes feature house-made pasta like Cordolona—rope pasta with pork polpettini, red sauce, oregano, pecorino and bread crumbs. Do you feel a Mediterranean breeze? It's blowing in with the wood-roasted calamari, grilled veal chop and grappa-glazed carrots.
