The Original Wineburger
6027 N. 19th Ave. - PhoenixThe Original Wineburger’s a place your grandfather would love but is more likely to be inhabited by young adults. The casual eatery is done up old school, with wood paneling, linoleum floors and neon beer signs, and the burgers and fries are just as basic. True to the name, the meat is cooked with wine, though those who hate the taste of the drink will be pleasantly surprised at the subtle flavor. The burgers are huge, and fries come in beer pitchers, but the prices are low. No wonder the restaurant is always full of regulars.
