We know everyone is cutting back on spending because there's some gossip about expensive gas, a recession, tough times, etc. We understand. Fortunately, there are tons of cool places where you can score cheap drinks. Cheap beers, specifically.

Geisha A Go Go Asian Bistro Lounge
7150 E. Sixth Ave. - ScottsdaleEscape the dusty, dry, desert life for a taste of Tokyo at Geisha A Go Go. At Geisha, you will find a plethora of girl-friendly drinks such as the Yashi Yashi and a heavy dose of Japanese pop culture. But once you grasp your bearings amid the karaoke booths and pachinko machines, you can find $3 Kirin draft during happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. Specialty drinks, sake, wine can be had for $5.
Dos Gringos Trailer Park
1001 E. Eighth St. - TempePut on your flip-flops and head out for a drink. With five locations Valley-wide, almost anyone can enjoy the offerings of this laidback bar. The best drink specials are at the Tempe Trailer Park location. Here, you can find Coronas for $2 and all other beers for $3 everyday. On Thursdays, you can grab 50-cent Coronas from 9 p.m. to midnight. The Scottsdale location also has 50-cent Coronas on Thursday nights and offers $2 Pacificos during happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. and reverse happy hour from 9 p.m. to midnight.
The Rogue Bar
423 N. Scottsdale Road - ScottsdaleIf the small, dark, cavelike look doesn't draw you to this watering hole, maybe the all-day happy hour will. Rouge Bar serves Pabst Blue Ribbon for $1 and domestic bottles for $2.50 until 8 p.m. Although it is unlikely you'll hear live punk rock during happy hour, you can pump the well-stocked jukebox with all the money you save on beer.
Four Peaks Brewing Co.
1340 E. Eighth St. - TempeDrink local and forget those domestic bottles. From 3 to 7 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to close, you can find pints for $2.75 and $10 pitchers at this Tempe brewery. With a large patio that fills easily even in the summer heat, Four Peaks is a classic for those looking for a cold beer and a chill atmosphere. With a full menu, you can satisfy your cravings for anything beer-battered here as well.
Shady's
2701 E. Indian School Road - PhoenixThis bar draws in a steady stream of neighborhood regulars and those that are part of the hip crowd, so to speak (tattoos and hair-dye on the men, tattoos and tight jeans on the women). With a little bit of something for everyone - pool tables, a jukebox and movies - this bar also offers cheap beer. You can drink domestic bottles for $2.75, pints of Bud Light for $2.50, and Miller High Life for $2. Come early because it gets crowded, but that may have something to do with the mixed drinks served in pint glasses.
Monkey Pants Bar & Grill
3223 S. Mill Ave. - TempeDon't discount this strip-mall joint. You can find $1.50 domestic drafts and $2.25 domestic bottles during happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m. at this antics-filled bar. You can play games (shuffleboard or checkers, anyone?) and eat free popcorn, too. If you happen to miss the happy hour stuck in Phoenix traffic, domestic drafts are only $2.50. Also, this place hosts Mustache Monday with $3.95 nachos all day and cheap drinks for those with mustaches. We love it.
