Amid all the news of economic gloom and doom, there are still some businesses that seemingly remain unaffected.

This is a little look at those businesses, those bars in particular, that are unruffled by dipping Dows and sliding stocks.

They are places where the rich, or at least those in denial about no longer being rich, congregate to overspend on bottles of wine, on glasses of vodka, on glittering nights of frivolity and fun.

Here's a look at some of the most stunningly expensive ways these last few big spenders can, in fact, spend big.

The Millionaire Margarita ($25)

The drink at Red's Steakhouse, doesn't cost a million but it may just make you feel like a million. It's not the priciest on the list, but if you lose your inhibitions your credit card could get a little workout with more than one.

The Bentley Margarita ($80)

This high-class cocktail is a combo of Gran Patron Platinum, Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac and fresh lime, served at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North.

The Nightcap ($500)

At the Onyx bar, patrons can enjoy two half-ounce snifters of Remy Martin Louis XII and Richard Hennessy cognacs. Sip and smoke in style along with a pre-embargo Cuban Partagas cigar.

The Luxury Martini ($1,000)

If you're feeling charitable or in need of a little sparkle, this is your kind of cocktail, served at both the Valley's Capital Grille locations. The martini's proceeds benefit the national charity Share our Strength, a non-profit fighting to end childhood hunger in America.

Macallan Whiskey shot ($2,500)

Chef Michael Mina recommends a shot of this stuff to go along with his Japanese Kobe beef filet at the swanky Bourbon Steak at the Fairmont Scottsdale. This 55-year-old whiskey is known for being the Rolls-Royce of whiskeys.

Louis XIII Black Pearl Magnum shot ($3,000)

The swanky Bourbon Steak at the Fairmont Scottsdale is the only one in Arizona to feature this premium cognac. At these prices, the bottle would retail for almost $100,000.
