Reward yourself for making it to work two days this week by going out tonight. Cheers.
Tuesday drink specials

Majerle's Sports Grill
24 N. Second St. - PhoenixDan Majerle, former Phoenix Suns player and current Suns assistant coach, also lends his talents to Majerle's Sports Grill, a popular downtown restaurant known for its half-pound burgers and casual, sports-oriented atmosphere full of Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks fans. Catch games on one of the bar's TVs while you chow down on a Mama Majerle's Burger, $8.99, made with mushrooms, grilled onions and mozzarella. On Tuesdays, you can jam out to karaoke from 8 p.m. to midnight, while sipping on $4 margaritas on the rocks, house wines and well drinks. Domestic drafts are $3 and select appetizers come in at $5.
The Lodge
4422 N. 75th St. - ScottsdaleWith the feel of a mountaintop ski lodge, this isn't your typical Scottsdale bar. There's no cover, no dress code and no VIP area. No one tosses around the words “upscale,” “luxe” or “elegant.” Then again, the blond, midriff-baring bartenders, fancified comfort food and massive bar remind you that you're still in Scottsdale. On the third Tuesday of every month, you can take part in the bar Olympics with fraternity-esque events like beer pong, bags, quarters, Wii and life-size beer Jenga. Satisfy your thirst with $2 domestic drafts, $3 apple sauce shots and $5 vodka raspberry bombers with Red Bull.
Los Sombreros
2534 N. Scottsdale Road - ScottsdaleThis award-winning Mexican joint has been picked for almost everybody's "Best Of" list already, and from just 9 to 10 p.m., you can savor a sampling of its best drinks for $5: mojitos, white and red sangria, and margaritas. A fiver will also get select appetizers, such as mouth-watering guacamole, shrimp cocktail, chicken tacos and carnitas. We just wish the deals lasted a little longer...
Sassi
10455 E. Pinnacle Peak Parkway - ScottsdaleSassi is gorgeously designed to resemble a Tuscan villa, and the food is just as striking. Sassi's bar offers half-price antipasti from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. At that time, you can also indulge in $7 glasses of house wine. But we also recommend dishes like orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe. Many of the pasta dishes feature house-made pasta like Cordolona—rope pasta with pork polpettini, red sauce, oregano, pecorino and bread crumbs. Do you feel a Mediterranean breeze? It's blowing in with the wood-roasted calamari, grilled veal chop and grappa-glazed carrots.
Asia de Cuba
Mondrian Scottsdale Hotel - ScottsdaleAsia de Cuba is a chic, “beautiful people” restaurant with culinary substance to match its scenester sizzle. Dishes, served family-style, are meant to be shared. The most shareable include the calamari salad, duck ropa vieja, wok-fried whole sea bass and pork belly with a honey-rum glaze. And right now, oenophiles can savor the good stuff at a major discount. All $150 bottles of wine are half price.
Dos Gringos Mesa Mexigrill
1958 S. Greenfield Road - MesaAt all of these laid-back locations, those with big stomachs and small wallets (and designated drivers) can indulge in both the daily happy hours and reverse happy hours. If you're looking for daytime goodies, stop by the Dos from 4 to 7 p.m. for a $1 happy shot, which changes daily, and $4 menu items like a pair of tacos, quesadillas and gringos rolls. For the nocturnal, reverse is from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. with the same rundown. And don't forget, Dos Gringos serves up $2 Coronas all day, every day.
Postino Arcadia
3939 E. Campbell Ave. - PhoenixWell worth the drive, wine is the drink of choice at this bustling, chic lunch and dinner destination. Postino has a carefully edited and often-updated international selection, and is staffed with servers who know how to recommend based on guest preferences. Even though this happy hour is only offered two days a week, and isn't at the usual times, it is so amazing it made the cut. For just $20, from 8 p.m. until close on Mondays and Tuesdays, guests can enjoy a board of bruschettas and a bottle of wine. Guests can pick from more than eight kinds of bruschetta and from any of the wines sold by the bottle.
Northern Lounge
5008 W. Northern Ave. - GlendaleBilliards players flock to this little gem in the West Valley to rack it up with some of the Valley's best pool shooters, especially Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, when you can compete in one of Northern Lounge's pool tournaments. If pool isn't your thing, there are plenty of cozy booths where you can sit back and relax with friends or a date. There are killer drink specials every weekday from 10 a.m. (the words “go ugly early” come to mind) to 3 p.m., such as $1 beers, $1 well drinks and rotating shots for $1. And you can play pool for free from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays.
Drink specials: Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday
