Blue Martini turns 1
Blue Martini, an upscale martini bar in Scottsdale, celebrated its one-year anniversary celebration. The Instant Classics, a six-piece cover band, entertained the crowd. The bar opened strong last winter and has hosted successful events in its first year, including a notable appearance from Vicki Gunvalson, one of the “Real Housewives of Orange County” from Bravo's reality TV series.
Blue Martini quickly built a reputation as a destination for post-work happy hour and evening rendezvous for the 35-and-older set, setting itself apart from other lounges with a 34-martini menu of 5-ounce signature drinks and nightly live music from bands that play Boomer-friendly tunes.
