Costume contest brings out characters
Katie Charland, 26, of Tempe, Anabel Martinez, 24, of Mesa, and Terra Walker, 33, of Chandler, helped put together the Phoenix Comicon 2010 Pub Crawl that began at Rula Bula and ended at The Tavern on Mill. Pub crawlers were encouraged to dress up as their favorite comic book characters. Those who dressed up competed for the best costume prize, awarded based on originality or accuracy.
