Jetting off to the South Pacific isn’t exactly convenient, so head to Drift Restaurant and Tiki Bar in Scottsdale., where you can sip island-inspired cocktails in a Polynesian setting any time.
On weekend nights, the Old Town Scottsdale spot is packed with beautiful young people imbibing on drinks such as the Evil Bastard, a $12 concoction with Bacardi 151 and Trader Vic Passion Fruit; and the Pigmy Pigmy ($9), with blackberry brandy, banana, pineapple and grenadine. You also can score $4 daiquiris and coladas from 4-7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Drift has some amazing food, which the restaurant serves until midnight daily. Share a pupu platter ($22), which comes with spare ribs and shrimp skewers, and try the Samoan Black Pepper Filet ($24), with fire onions, broccolini and Jamaican jerk butter.
