Biltmore Fashion Park's outdoor movies a hit
Nighttime in the Valley is still a little bit chilly, but that didn’t stop hundreds of people from heading the Phoenix’s Biltmore Fashion Park to check out the outdoor mall’s Movies in the Park event.
Every Friday night this spring, the grassy area in the center of the shopping center becomes covered in blankets, picnic baskets and dogs, as people watch their fave classic films on a giant screen.
Last week, I headed there for “The Breakfast Club.” It’s a free event, and I would recommend heading there at least an hour and a half early to score a good spot.
Also, if you’re thinking about buying food at the Biltmore, the earlier the better, especially if you’re getting take-out from a spot like California Pizza Kitchen.
Although the event is outdoors, many people I’ve seen there bring champagne or other alcoholic beverages, and it’s not really monitored. Just don’t get too drunk and start heckling at the screen!
This week’s movie is “From Russia with Love.” Movies start at 7:30 p.m.
