Lowrider culture
Mesa Arts Center opened its fall exhibits on the theme of lowriders and tattoos on Friday. Mr Cartoon, tattoo artist and lowrider proponent, loaned his 1979 Monte Carlo, which gleams in the Main Gallery at Mesa Contemporary Arts. Low and Slow: The Art of the Lowrider runs through Jan. 11.
