Can I give a 0 star review? Or a negative review????!!? I wish!!! We went in looking to meet friends, and didn't find them. After being herded out the back door, we asked the owner if we could have our $5 (guy's) cover back. He refused, saying " yeah, once you go through, there's nothing I can do". Actually, "businessman", there's a LOT you can do! It's your business - you can do anything to please your customer!! Unfortunately, you don't care about your customer that much. Too bad that will put you out of business, no matter how rich ASU's college environment is. Also, the girl who took our money had told us to ask the Owner, like he had dictated. Nice training! Direct your"staff" to you, so you can directly turn them away. Thanks for clearing anything up!! Inside, the music was way club, too loud, and the service was awful. 1) Please don't go here - the owner is clearly a douche!!!! He proved it by telling us that "Whatever, we've been here for five years, so we don't need you". Umm, dude, you need EVERYONE in your business - it's a recession. Good short-mindedness. 2) This is like Axis/Radius for ASU students!! If you want to have sex on the dance floor, Please go. If you like conversation, owners that CARE about your business and YOU, and a cool place to chill, please boycott this douchey bar and it's awful, self-righteous owner. He should learn that service actually matters!!! Thanks servers, bartenders, and customer service advocates!!! Your support (and boycotts) mean so much!!!

Vintage is always the place I go to on the weekends. The DJs they have play a mixture of music, not just stuff you hear over and over on the radio. Their drink specials are always the best on Mill Avenue with $3 beers and wells and free shots before midnight you can't go wrong. Most of the time the cover is free but they strictly enforce the dress code! Vintage my #1 spot to be on Mill Avenue!

I am a 32 year old, 6' 1", 330lb, African American man. I work for a multi-million dollar company that has a great reputation & it's roots in the Valley for over 2 decades. The fact that I was turned down entrance to this establishment was astonishing!!!! I was told I was out of dress code because my shirt was "too long". What the hell is that?? A man of my stature can not wear v-neck t-shirts & skinny jeans! While my clothes did "fit" me, they were not overly baggy! I was not the only Black male that was turned down at the door. Ironically, the one Caucasian that was "turned down" at the door, was then let in thru the VIP with a group of Caucasians!!!! This is discrimination on so many levels!!! First off, if "baggy" clothes are an issue, maybe your speakers shouldn't blare the music of individuals that adhere to the same dress code you denounce!!! Secondly, the Caucasian that was "turned down" was only for show. I don't think the security guard expected us to see him let that guy in 10 minutes later. You lost business that night. There were already a group of friends inside that left promptly after we informed them we were denied at the door. We were able to have a good time at 2 other, more "classy" establishments that night without me & my friends having to go home & change. Your loss!!!!! I'll tell you what though........I promise to show up next time in a pair of skin tight capri's & a halter top in order to meet dress code.....as long as I'm not arrested for indecent exposure!!!!!

Heather, you are one mean skating machine & BTW you make a mean cappuccino too! ~; = ]]> I know Hether does not skate in Arizona any more. I met her today in Wisconsin where she currently skates. I have been a 'derby' fan since the days Roller Derby was the only women's athletic event on TV. You GO girls, oops I mean 'women'. Seriously, I appreciate all forms of athleticism. Women should chose and play whatever .....

I am personally glad places like Tower Records went out of business here in the Valley. I like a large selection and do not want it to surround only major label BS. These guys have been around since I was barely in High School. Watched them change location a couple times and glad they are still around. They have a great selection and support indie labels. If you are down with Bon Jovi, they probably are not your thing. If you like all kinds of muisc, grace them with your presense sometime. Rock on!

The Twilight Farmers Market changes the theme every month which makes the experience so much more fun. For January 2010, for example, they are doing a Golf theme, with golf lessons and giveaways from the shops! Plus, they always bring in the best bands in town! Of course, the organic produce and the delicious goodies from the artisan bakers are the main reason I attend every week!

Hanks commented on World-class water slides coming to Phoenix in June

4) There are 4...only 4!!! drinking fountains in the entire park. They are all tucked away together, seemingly hidden in a corridor by the entrance. I guess their plan is for you to spend more money on over priced bottled water. In my opinion, this is criminal in this climate. When you do get on the rides, they are some great slides. They are fun and the water is refreshing. We were walking by some kids and one actually commented to another "where do you have to go to be wet n wild?". It was the funniest thing I heard all day. I havent been to the east side parks but I will never go back to this one unless it's half the price...and I'm telling everyone, if they ask or not.
