Arizona State University students and Tempe residents alike flock to Kiwanis Park, a sprawling recreation center with just about any type of athletic activity imaginable, from basketball to fishing. Knock around some balls on the tennis or sand volleyball courts, or head to the indoor wave pool, complete with waterslides and "dive-in movies." There also are baseball fields and a batting range, or have a picnic at one of the lakeside ramadas.
