“Halloween III: Season of the Witch” (1982)

Michael Myers sat this one out, and it's easy to see why: even a machete-wielding psycho killer wouldn't have been able to cut through the plot holes of this flick. And yet...the idea of an evil toymaker stealing part of Stonehenge, implanting bits of the rock in Halloween masks and then activating a gruesome self-destruct mechanism on Oct. 31 to simultaneously kill millions of American children seems rather prescient nowadays. Inane plot aside, the booby-trapped Halloween masks deliver a gruesome fate that far out-creeps anything in the "Saw" series.
