One of Gervais' best moments of the night was a reference to a joke from last year. Right after his monologue, Johnny Depp came out on stage (to present a Best Picture nominee clip package for "Hugo") and Gervais said: "I want to ask you a question ... and be honest. Have you seen 'The Tourist' yet?"
Depp's answer: "Uh...uh. No."
