LL Cool J hosts a cavalcade of 2012's best performers
A two-time Grammy-winner himself, LL Cool J will become the award show's first official host in seven years when the rapper-turned-actor helms the 54th annual show from Los Angeles' Staples Center on Feb. 12. LL Cool J has hosted the Grammy nominations concert since it first began a time-honored tradition in 2008, and now joins a hallowed list that includes previous hosts such as John Stewart, Billy Crystal and Ellen DeGeneres.
