The third album from the Denver pop-rockers was produced by Brendan O’Brien (Bruce Springsteen, Incubus) and features the rising hit “Heartbeat,” which shows off the band’s more (gently) rocking side. “We just stepped up to plate and swung as hard as we could,” frontman Isaac Slade says of the group’s approach to this third LP. Slade and his bandmates spent a lot of time traveling before getting back to writing and recording, which explains track titles like “Munich” and “Rainy Zurich.”
