Europa Palace
If you like Romanian food — or garlic — head to Europa Palace, a little restaurant neighboring a deli, that features classic Romanian dishes, many steeped in the pungent stuff (Dracula’s tochitura is named that for a reason). Don’t be intimidated by the Eastern European items — the servers will be more than happy to help you order. Try the polenta with sour cream and feta, the stuffed cabbages or the chicken livers as appetizers before moving on to dishes such as muschulets la gratar, or grilled pork tenderloin.
