Cre-Paris
Cre-Paris (pronounced “cre-pair-ee”) is a neat, tiny, order-at-the-counter creperie (also pronounced “cre-pair-ee” — get it?) with plastic utensils, bright yellow walls and a vaguely European cafe air. The kitchen does a great job with the crepes. Thin, light and ever-so-slightly chewy, they're altogether first-rate. And they're authentically prepared: Homemade batter is poured onto a griddle, smoothed out with a wooden roller and flipped with a wooden spatula. Fillings range from savory to sweet and include ham and mozzarella, chicken and spinach with feta, or banana, chocolate and almonds.
