Scratch French Cafe
Since 2008, the original Scratch Pastries has served French macarons from its small store at Indian School and Miller roads in Scottsdale. Now, chef-owner Duc Liao, born in Cambodia and raised in Paris, has a second location in the Spoke Center at Roosevelt and Third streets.
Scratch serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and a la carte pastries. Among the menu items are quiche; “eggs royale,” poached eggs with smoked salmon, hollandaise and dill on an English muffin; nicoise salad; and roasted lamb shoulder in curry sauce with rice and vegetables.
