This north Scottsdale restaurant's name is inspired by the Al Hamra Palace in Granada, Spain. Pakistani and Indian food are served, including soups, naan breads, tandoori entrees, biryanis and curries. Try malai kofta (mixed veggie ball cooked in curry sauce with cashew nuts and cream), mango-garlic chicken, and lamb karachi sautéed with onion, bell peppers, tomatoes and ginger in an iron wok. Scoop it up with green chile naan. Complete your meal with paneer tikka masala of homemade cottage cheese cubes simmered in curry with cream and fenugreek.
