Curry Leaf is the Indian equivalent of a fast-food restaurant. It’s a colorful, no-frills establishment with a menu of good-for-you selections such as saag tofu, a creamy puree of spinach interspersed with tofu, and channa masala, garbanzo beans with onions and tomatoes seasoned with spices. The restaurant’s one dessert option, gulab jamun, is tasty: dough balls covered in cardamom-scented sugar syrup.
