There are a lot of pizza places claiming authenticity, old-world sensibilities and family cooking secrets, but only Rosati’s has five generations of tradition backing up its claims. Since the first Rosati family-owned Italian food restaurant opened in New York in the late 1890’s, and long after the family moved to Chicago and opened another restaurant in 1927, the family has been dedicated to the axiom “give the people what they want.” This has led to franchises opening in seven states, and, of course, in the Valley.
