Fresh Wasabi
The draw is sushi and sushi rolls that get both the fish and rice right. Staples such as tai (red snapper), hamachi (yellowtail) and suzuki (striped bass) can jolt you out of the doldrums, as if you were tasting sushi for the first time. But there are additional charms in the poke and squid salads, and the distinctively seasoned yakisoba noodles taste just like they do in Japan.
