Ichi Ban Japanese
A place where the workers wear kimonos and Japanese music is always in the background, Ichi Ban is not just for dinner — it's for a free show. Guests get cozy with strangers at the teppanyaki tables and watch chefs fling knives and crack bad jokes as they prepare grilled meats and vegetables. The restaurant also offers a large sushi selection including ika (squid), flying-fish roe and traditional nigiri sushi. First-timers and the squeamish can opt for cooked sushi rolls such as the Hawaiian, with tuna and pineapple. Take plenty of money though; this is one of the more expensive sushi places.
