Pure’s sushi may not be completely traditional, but the restaurant’s trendy ambience may make the trip to this north-Scottsdale restaurant worth it. Wood floors, white walls and dim lights set the mood, and the outdoor seating area is packed with hot young thangs dressed up and ready to mingle. Chow down on some sushi from the extensive menu, including the eel and avocado roll or the salmon hand roll. Diners also may opt for items such as ika tempura, with fried calamari and pesto sauce, or tuna carpaccio.
