At Anzio Landing, an Italian restaurant at Falcon Field Airport, enjoy views of airplanes taking off. The eatery tries to create a little slice of Italy, with a 1940s atmosphere complete with World War II memorabilia hanging from the walls as a homage to the Allied invasion of Italy. The food also aims to represent the time, with offerings such as seafood-stuffed mushrooms ($8), eggplant parmigiana ($8.95 lunch, $17.75 dinner) and tortellini Toscana ($9.95 lunch, $17.75 dinner). Anzio hosts murder-mystery dinner-theater shows about once a month.
