El Pollo Loco
The name translates to “The Crazy Chicken.” With several Valley locations, the fast casual restaurants aren’t as silly as the name may imply. It takes its flame-grilled chicken seriously, adding the marinated bird to many of its menu items, from chicken bowls and burritos to nachos and quesadillas. The eatery has Mexican roots, but you’ll find American sides like macaroni and cheese and cole slaw, too. Add the salsa of your choice to the meal for just the right amount of spiciness.
