This casual Mexican-food restaurant, with Old Mexico decorations, hardwood chairs and benches, and TVs broadcasting the latest sports events, is cheap and filling. It also is a great place for groups because of its party room and banquet-style tables. The margaritas are strong, and the frozen strawberry ones definitely do the trick. The machaca tacos ($2.99 each) are popular, or try a generously portioned chimichanga dinner ($10.49). Just be wary of the guacamole, which has a cottage-cheese texture.
