The Paisley Violin cafe has a central spot on Grand Avenue, near downtown arts venues Soul Invictus, Trunk Space and Dues ex Machina and nightclub Chez Nous, so you don’t have to travel far to have a great night out in downtown Phoenix. In addition to serving a tasty variety of world coffees and sweet baked goods, the cafe also features a vegetarian-friendly, eclectic menu with cheap Greek, Cuban and Asian sandwiches, salads and appetizers. The Paisley looks straight out of Europe, with a wooden bar, hanging lights, and classy paintings and photos. There also is a pretty patio, and you’re bound to hear some live music or poetry readings here.
