New NFL hotspot!

I recently joined a few of my friends to watch some football at Toby Keith's bar in mesa. I never expected to walk in and see so many TV's playing the game! i was greeted by a cute girl who knew exactly where my friends were. she let me know about all the great specials and suggested the touchdown platter or the pigskins. Let me tell you, the pork on the pig skins was out of this world! This bar had the cooled mason jars to drink out of too! I loved the country atmosphere and my guy friends loved seeing all the Tempe12 girls while watching the game! If you want to go to a real Football bar, Tobys is where to go!

Just disappointed

We go to all types of restaurants ranging in prices and style. We would have done better by going to McD’s. This place won’t be around much longer.

Way Overpriced Beer

I'm of the opinion that if you have ask a beer price upfront, you can't afford to be drinking. However, after ordering my one and only beer at Toby Keith's I'm never going back. One large beer, $9 please. With tip, I paid $10 for a single beer. On a Sunday at noon during a recession? Properly priced, I would have spent $30-40 on food and drinks. Instead, they got my $10, I drank up, and left.

Toby should be embarrased

Workers are only told what to do by management... so I blame management. Steamed vegetables should be delived to the table with butter and some type of eating utensil. The fish and chips were obviously forgot about in the oil for way to long. Let us think for a moment.... if this is your business then why not at least try. Managers walk around as if there is nothing to do... we try looking at what comes out of your kitchen and then give the customer a way to pick at this slop. Poor Toby... I hate this bar!

worst food in the east valley

My fiance' and I have gone here twice, and they have the worst food!!! And the staff was nice, but both times, they were clueless about the menu, and just seemed very confused. This is however, a great place hear live music. Just be sure to eat before you. Also, numerous staff members walk on the bar (where we ate the first time), and do not wipe it down after. That's gross, and you would think it would be a health code violation.

I was a bit skeptical of this place, but was suprised by the very friendly staff and efficient service that my family received. We enjoyed a good meal and had a good time. It was fun to see all the military personnel in there! The live music was great! We will go back!
