InterContinental Montelucia Resort and Spa opened in November 2008 as InterContinental Hotels and Resort's first U.S. resort. Featuring 252 guest rooms, 39 suites and 2 presidential suites, the resort is inspired by the rich history, whitewashed villages and sun-drenched hills of Spain’s Andalusia region. This extraordinary community of resort, private villas, spa, pools and restaurants is reminiscent of a European town square with arching entryways, splashing fountains and floral walkways.
