Best Mixology Cocktail Bars
The cocktail craze is still in full effect and here are some of the best places in NY to find a drink that is served on crushed ice, with hand strained juices and top shelf liquor by a trained mixologist.

1
Little Branch -
22 Seventh Ave. South - New York (West Village)
Report this commentA great low key cocktail bar in the west village but get there early because it can get really crowded and once it's at capacity, they will start to turn people away.
-
2
Clover Club -
210 Smith St. - Brooklyn
Report this commentA much needed addition to the Cobble Hill area. They have a private room in the back that is ideal for bigger parties.

3
Milk & Honey -
134 Eldridge St. - New York (Chinatown)
Report this commentMilk & Honey is the pioneer bar behind the mixology craze and its owner, Sasha is often hired to train the bartenders for the some of the other places on this list. Although beware Milk & Honey is slowly integrating a members only policy.

PDT -
113 St. Marks Pl. - New York (East Village)
Report this commentSurprise friends by knowing that the entrance is through the telephone booth.
-
5
Death & Co. -
433 E. 6th St. - New York (East Village)
Report this commentExcellent drinks with fresh juices and creative combinations.
-
6
East Side Company Bar -
49 Essex St. - New York (Chinatown)
Report this commentIt is a tight squeeze in this narrow bar but the drinks are worth sticking around for.

Weather Up -
589 Vanderbilt Ave. - Brooklyn (Prospect Heights)
Report this commentOne of my favorite places in the summer because if you are lucky enough to snag a seat outside, you will never want to leave.

Prime Meats -
465 Court St. - Brooklyn (Carroll Gardens)
Report this commentIt is currently being used as a bar/waiting area for seating at Frankie's 457 but is quickly becoming known for its fantastic cocktails.
